Hawk walks

See the world through a Hawks eyes and take a walk with a Hawk.

A Hawk Walk is a perfect taster for the falconry experience. On arrival you will be met by the falconer and introduced to a Harris Hawk. A
falconers glove will be given to you for your use during the walk and you will be instructed on how to safely handle the hawk.
​
The walk itself lasts about an hour and covers some easy ground. As the hawk follows on through the trees you'll get to call it down to
your gloved fist for a titbit. Feel that adrenalin rush as they glide down towards you and gently alight onto your glove. A truly unique
hands on experience.

Please be aware that Harris Hawks are Birds of Prey and although we are not hunting with them on the hawk walk there is the possibility
they might chase and catch something. 
​
​As with all country pursuits the weather plays a big part so dark coloured, warm and waterproof clothing and sensible footwear would be
advised. It can also ruin a day out so in case of howling wind and rain the walk will be cancelled and rearranged to suit.

Spectators - £25.00 per person

Hawk Walks are from October 1st 2025 through til March 31st  2026
 
Maximum of 4 guests. To ensure group sizes remain small, guests are restricted to one spectator. Please note: customers with an
experience voucher from one of the  online sites, the maximum number of guests will be six.

Hawk Walks are only available from October 1st to March 31st.  No children under the age of 12 and strictly NO DOGS !
